Although I won’t argue that this article doesn’t raise valid problems that women face in possible leadership roles, I wonder what good it does to point these things out if you don’t offer any type of solution to counter those issues. Maybe it’s an unrealistic expectation on my part, but I would hope that we’d continue to search for a way to “have it all” regardless of how bleak the outcome may be made to look.

Humor can be found everywhere. The LinkedIn survey results about office pet peeves that came out yesterday is definitely a source. I particularly love Forbes’ review of this survey where they mention how revealing clothing in the workplace is more of a pet peeve among women. I always laugh out loud when hardcore news media report something glaringly obvious as if it’s news, but this laugh got the attention of my office coworkers… think loud laughs might be on their pet peeve list?
